What is
LAHD NAC?

The LAHD NAC database is a collaboration between the Los Angeles City Housing Department and Evan Terry Associates. It contains all of the accessibility-related design and construction requirements under the applicable regulations and standards for housing developments in the city of Los Angeles.

How it works

01

Sites & Buildings

Create your site and its buildings so you can select the individual standards that apply to each building.
02

Standards & Requirements

Once you select a building, choose which standards and requirements apply to the building. Then we sort, filter, and store that information for your reference when you are ready.
03

Design

Select the requirement, then we provide you with its details, interpretations, and expectations so you can design a solution that will pass final approval without delays.
Avoid expensive accessibility errors.

Give your team of developers, project managers, architects, contractors, and CASps access to all of LAHD’s fully-detailed accessibility requirements and expectations from the beginning of the design process through construction and final approval.

Don’t build on assumptions, build on reality.

LAHD NAC is the only solution that shows you all of the LAHD’s requirements and expectations for new construction and alteration projects to public housing developments for the City of Los Angeles.

This LAHD NAC system includes all the relevant housing development design and construction requirements, as well as requirements specific to the Voluntary Compliance Agreement (VCA) and Amended Corrected Settlement Agreement (ACSA).
